The Venezuelan Acid Mine Company is an important local producer of concentrated sulfuric acid. As the market demands for the purity of sulfuric acid continue to rise, the company is confronted with the challenge of product purification – the suspended dissolved solids and colloidal sulfur residue in sulfuric acid affect the quality and restrict the expansion of the high-end market. 2. Customer Requirements

Filtration Objective  : To remove suspended solids and colloidal sulfur residue from concentrated sulfuric acid.

Flow requirement  : ≥2 m³/h to ensure production efficiency.

Filtration accuracy  : ≤5 microns, ensuring high purity.

Corrosion Resistance  : The equipment must withstand the corrosion of concentrated sulfuric acid to ensure long-term stable operation.

3. Solutions
A customized filtration system is adopted, and the core equipment includes:
(1) PTFE bag filter
High-efficiency filtration: Large filtration area, meeting the requirements of flow rate and precision.
Corrosion-resistant design: Inner layer coated with PTFE, resistant to concentrated sulfuric acid corrosion, extending service life.

(2) 316 Stainless steel pneumatic diaphragm pump
 Safety and Stability: 316 stainless steel is corrosion-resistant. Pneumatic drive avoids electrical risks and is suitable for flammable environments.
Flow Matching: Stably convey 2 m³/h sulfuric acid, and work efficiently in coordination with the filter.

(3) PTFE filter bags
 High-precision filtration  : The microporous structure can retain particles smaller than 5 microns, enhancing the purity of sulfuric acid.
 Chemical Inertness : PTFE material is resistant to strong acids and has no chemical reactions, ensuring filtration safety.
