Problem: This processing plant generates a large amount of tailings slurry daily, with a high moisture content (~70%). The traditional natural sedimentation method is inefficient and occupies a large amount of land. The customer needs an economical and efficient dewatering solution to enable dry stacking and transportation of the tailings, thereby reducing processing costs. 
Solution

Filter plate material: Reinforced polypropylene (resistant to wear, suitable for high solid content of mineral pulp) 
Supporting equipment: Slurry pump (for feeding), Sludge storage bin (for receiving filter cake) 
✅ Process Flow: 
Summary: The tailings slurry is initially concentrated by a cyclone, increasing the solid content from 20% to 40%. 
Filtering: The material is pumped into the filter press, manually hydraulically compressed, and then filtered under pressure. The filtrate is clear (SS < 50mg/L) and can be directly reused. 
Discharge: The moisture content of the filter cake drops to 18-22%, and it becomes a hard mass. It can be directly loaded onto vehicles for transportation.
