Bottle Washing Water Filtration, Recycling and Reuse for a Lebanese Customer

I. Project Background

The customer for this cooperation is based in Lebanon, with the core demand of treating and filtering bottle washing wastewater to achieve recycling and reuse. This not only meets environmental protection and emission reduction requirements but also reduces water resource consumption and production costs. The customer clearly stated that the solid impurities in the wastewater to be treated are mainly sand and a small amount of plastic particles. Meanwhile, specific standards for equipment material, function and treatment efficiency were put forward to adapt to the continuous operation needs of its production scenario and ensure filtration effect and equipment durability.

II. Core Customer Requirements

  • Treatment Object: Bottle washing wastewater; sand, a small amount of plastic particles and other solid impurities need to be filtered out to realize wastewater recycling and reuse.
  • Material Requirement: 316L stainless steel is specified to adapt to the wastewater environment, avoid corrosion and aging, and ensure long-term stable operation of the equipment and water quality hygiene.

III. Scheme Selection and Adaptability Analysis

Combined with the customer’s needs and the impurity characteristics of the wastewater to be treated, we recommended a mesh-type self-cleaning filter to the customer after targeted research and judgment. This equipment can accurately meet various requirements, with core adaptability as follows:

(I) Material Adaptability: 316L Stainless Steel Lays a Solid Foundation for Durability

In strict accordance with the customer’s specification, all core components of the equipment are made of 316L stainless steel. Compared with ordinary stainless steel, 316L stainless steel has excellent corrosion resistance, wear resistance and high-temperature resistance. It can effectively resist trace chemical residues and impurity friction loss that may be contained in bottle washing wastewater, avoid water pollution or equipment failure caused by equipment rust and damage, greatly extend the service life of the equipment, and adapt to long-term wastewater treatment scenarios.

The mesh-type filtration structure can accurately intercept sand and a small amount of plastic particles in the water, with controllable filtration precision. It can effectively remove solid impurities in the wastewater, ensure that the recycled water quality meets the standards, and meet the requirements of recycling in the bottle washing process. At the same time, the equipment is designed to adapt to a treatment flow rate of 30m³/h, with stable flow rate and no fluctuation, which can synchronously match the amount of wastewater generated in the customer’s production process, realize real-time wastewater treatment and immediate recycling, and not slow down the production rhythm.

IV. Project Implementation and Operation Effect

(I) Project Implementation

According to the customer’s on-site production layout and wastewater treatment conditions, we completed the customized production, inspection, commissioning and on-site installation and docking of the mesh-type self-cleaning filter. We strictly controlled the quality inspection of 316L stainless steel throughout the process to ensure that all performance indicators of the equipment meet the customer’s requirements. After installation, multiple rounds of trial operation and commissioning were carried out to optimize equipment operation parameters and ensure seamless connection between the equipment and the customer’s existing production system.
