Customer Case: Polish Vegetable Oil Plant Introduces BMQ8/450-25 Plate and Frame Filter Press

Customer Background

The customer is a small to medium-sized vegetable oil processing enterprise in Poland, primarily engaged in the production and sales of cold-pressed oils such as flaxseed oil and rapeseed oil. As market demand grew, their original filtration equipment became inefficient and required frequent maintenance, failing to meet the daily processing requirement of 400 liters of crude oil.

Customer Requirements

  • Material to be processed: Flaxseed crude oil

  • Filtration temperature: 60℃

  • Daily processing capacity: 400L/h × 10 hours

  • Equipment requirements: Simple operation, easy maintenance, suitable for small to medium-scale production

  • Procurement method: The customer reviewed filter press images and parameters, then independently selected the BMQ8/450-25 model

Solution Provided

Based on the customer’s filtration conditions and output requirements, we recommended and provided the following configuration:

  • Main Equipment: BMQ8/450-25 Plate and Frame Filter Press

    • Frame structure: Type 500 plate and frame, double open delivery, blue painted carbon steel frame

    • Pressing method: Manual jack pressing, manual plate shifting

    • Filter plate configuration: 19 PP filter plates, 20 filter frames, 2 end plates, temperature resistant up to 60℃

    • Filter cloth: 20 pieces per set, compatible with 3927 specification

  • Auxiliary Equipment:

    • KCB33.3 cast steel gear pump, power 1.5kW, head 40m, 3-phase 400V 50Hz power supply

    • Carbon steel connecting pipes

    • PVC oil receiving tray

    • 304 stainless steel cake receiving tray with wheels

Implementation Results

After delivery, the customer successfully completed the installation and commenced production. The filtration performance remained stable, and operators became proficient after brief training. The manual pressing and plate shifting design reduced maintenance requirements, the PP filter plates performed well under 60℃ operating conditions, and the filtrate clarity met the customer’s specifications.
