The customer is located in Côte d’Ivoire and is a medium-sized processing enterprise specializing in tropical fruit juice production. Its main products include mango juice, passion fruit juice, etc., with a daily processing capacity of approximately 10 tons. With the increase in export orders, the customer has put forward higher requirements for the filtration accuracy and equipment hygiene standards of the production line.
Facing Challenges
The existing filtration equipment has the following problems:
- Low filtration efficiency and frequent clogging affect the continuity of production.
- The material of the equipment does not meet the food-grade requirements, posing a hygiene risk.
- The replacement of filter bags is complicated and the maintenance cost is high.
- The lack of a pressure monitoring device makes it impossible to keep track of the filtration status in real time.
Solution
We provided the customer with a complete set of stainless steel single-bag filter units, including:
- JYSF-4#-304 Single Bag Filter: Made of 304 stainless steel, with inner and outer mirror-polished surfaces, featuring a quick-opening hooped cover design and inlet and outlet connections via clamps.
- Sanitary centrifugal pump: 220V single-phase motor, flow rate 5000L/H, suitable for the power supply conditions on the customer’s site.
- Stainless steel hose: one 1.5-meter and one 3.5-meter hose each, with clamp-type couplings for flexible on-site connection.
- A variety of precision filter bags: 1μm, 25μm, 50μm, 100μm PP filter bags, meeting the filtration requirements of different types of fruit juices.
- Accessories included: pressure gauge, exhaust valve, clamps, O-rings and other spare parts to ensure long-term stable operation.
Implementation Effect
After the equipment was delivered, the customer provided the following feedback:
- The filtration accuracy has been significantly enhanced: the clarity of the juice has been notably improved, and the product quality is more stable.
- Maintenance efficiency has been significantly enhanced: The quick-opening hoop cover and clamp connection method has reduced the filter bag replacement time by 50%.
