Customer background:

A medium-sized industrial manufacturing enterprise relies on a central coolant circulation system for its core production equipment. The system has long been plagued by wear on the pipes and solid particles from external intrusion.

Customer pain points:

  • Unplanned downtime is frequent: When the original single-tank filter becomes clogged, the entire production line must be shut down for disassembly and cleaning. This results in several production interruptions each month, significantly impacting the delivery cycle.
  • High maintenance costs: The loss of production capacity during downtime, the labor costs for emergency maintenance, and the expenses for filter cartridge replacements all add up to a considerable expense.

In response to the core demands of the customers, namely “cannot be stopped”, “high cost” and “reliable”, we have recommended the standard dual-basket filter. Its core configuration is:

Implementation effect:

  • Achieving maintenance without downtime: When the filter basket on one side needs to be cleaned due to impurities, the operator only needs to operate the switching valve, and the process immediately switches to the clean filter basket on the other side. The entire process takes only one minute, and the production process does not need to be interrupted at all.
  • Overall cost has significantly decreased: The unplanned downtime caused by filter maintenance has been eliminated, ensuring production capacity. At the same time, the reusable 2mm sturdy mesh basket has replaced the consumable filter element, resulting in a substantial reduction in long-term usage costs.
  • Reliable protection for critical equipment: The 2mm accuracy effectively intercepts all large particles that could cause physical damage to downstream equipment. The 316 material ensures long-term corrosion resistance in the coolant environment. The equipment has been running for over a year, and the structure remains intact without any rust or leakage.
