Project Background
The client is located in Malaysia and is engaged in aquatic product processing-related business. In their production process, after the cooked krill is separated by the horizontal screw centrifuge, a stream of separated water is generated, which needs to be filtered online before the downstream process to remove solid impurities in the water and protect the subsequent pipelines and equipment. Previously, the client used an artificial cleaning method, which had high maintenance frequency and long downtime. Therefore, they hope to introduce a self-cleaning filter with a simple structure and convenient maintenance.
Process requirements
The client clearly defined the on-site process conditions:
- • Material: The separated water from the cooked krill after separation by the horizontal screw centrifuge
- • Flow rate: 5 cubic meters per hour
- • Required filtration accuracy: 5 millimeters
- • Installation space: Pipe interface need to match the existing pipelines on site
Based on this, the client put forward several clear requirements for the equipment:
Solution
According to the customer’s working conditions and the requirements of the drawings, we have customized a JYSEC-200-316L self-cleaning filter unit for them. The main parameter configuration is as follows:

Case Summary
The core of this case lies in “customization based on operating conditions”: from a flow rate of 5 m³/h, a filtration accuracy of 5 millimeters, to 316L material, single-cylinder drive, DN50/DN32 interfaces, and the layout for bottom drainage, each parameter corresponds to the actual needs of the customer’s on-site situation. For scenarios involving solid-containing process water such as aquatic product processing and centrifuge separation water, the JYSEC-200-316L self-cleaning filter provides a simple structure, convenient maintenance, and flexible configuration for online filtration.
