In the field of industrial liquid filtration, waste oil filtration has always been an application with high requirements for equipment material, filtration accuracy, and operational stability. Recently, a customer engaged in waste oil filtration treatment selected a 1# bag filter and completed the procurement of the entire machine and matching filter bags. From the selection process to the delivery, the overall progress was smooth, and the equipment has now been put into actual use.
Project Background
This client mainly engages in waste oil recycling and reprocessing. During the production process, it is necessary to effectively intercept and separate impurities and particles in the waste oil to improve the cleanliness of the oil and meet the requirements of subsequent processing procedures. Due to the complex composition of the waste oil, which contains various fine impurities, the client has put forward high requirements for the corrosion resistance, filtration accuracy, and operational reliability of the filtration equipment.
After fully understanding the working conditions, our technical staff recommended the use of bag-type filters as the core filtration equipment.
Selection Scheme
This project uses a 1# bag-type filter, with the model being JYSF-1#-304. The equipment whole body is made of SS304 stainless steel, and the cylinder body undergoes sandblasting surface treatment. It not only has good corrosion resistance but also has a cleaner and more durable appearance.
Technical Specifications
- Structure: Side-in, side-out feeding and discharging method.
- Interface: DN40 flange DIN standard.
- Dimensions: Cylinder diameter 219mm, height approximately 900mm.
- Pressure: Design pressure 10 bar, working pressure max 6 bar.
- Filter Media: 1# filter bags (180*430mm), 0.5 microns, PP material.
Application effect
After the equipment was put into use, its operating condition was stable, and the filtration effect met the customer’s expectations. The SS304 stainless steel cylinder exhibited excellent corrosion resistance in the waste oil filtration environment. The surface sandblasting treatment of the equipment also facilitated daily cleaning and maintenance. The side-in, side-out structure design made the pipeline connection smoother, and the on-site installation was relatively convenient.
The 0.5-micron PP filter bag in the accompanying equipment played a crucial role in the filtration process, effectively intercepting the fine impurities in the waste oil and reducing the processing burden in subsequent processes. The filter bag replacement operation was simple and quick, which helped reduce equipment downtime and improve overall production efficiency. The pressure gauge configuration also enabled operators to intuitively grasp the equipment’s operating status and promptly determine whether filter bag replacement or maintenance was needed.
Customer feedback
The customer is satisfied with the overall performance of the equipment. The equipment has a simple structure, is easy to operate, and the filter bags can be replaced quickly, which can well meet the actual needs of waste oil filtration. The combination of SS304 material and sandblasting treatment gives the equipment good performance in terms of corrosion resistance and appearance. The standard flange interface also reduces the adaptation work for on-site installation, and the overall user experience is excellent.
Case Summary
This case demonstrates that the 1# bag filter has excellent applicability in the waste oil filtration scenario. The configuration of SS304 stainless steel material, side-inside-out structure, DN40 flange DIN interface, and 0.5-micron PP filter bag can well meet the requirements of industrial liquid filtration for corrosion resistance, filtration accuracy, and operational stability. For customers with similar needs for waste oil filtration or oil liquid purification, this type of bag filter provides a practical and reliable selection reference.
