This operating procedure contains information necessary for the correct and safe use of the relevant equipment. Before installing and using the equipment, you must first read this operating procedure and use the filter press only after you have fully mastered its use, safety information, and all precautions. (For details, please refer to the User Operation Manual.)
- When lifting the filter press, hook into the equipment’s lifting holes and locate the equipment’s center of gravity before hoisting (the lifting ropes must be properly selected). If the filter plates need to be removed for lifting of large models, take care not to damage the surfaces of the filter plates or frames during lifting, to prevent material spraying during feeding.
- After the filter press is installed in position, measure the levelness of the filter press main beam and control it within ±2mm, with the diagonal deviation of the two main beams not exceeding 4mm. Otherwise, the filter press will suffer main beam deformation and material spraying due to uneven stress during use.
- Before trial operation of the filter press, fill the hydraulic station with hydraulic oil in accordance with the requirements in the operation manual. Failure to do so will affect the normal operation of the hydraulic station and cylinders and cause damage to the hydraulic pump. (Use No. 46 or No. 68 hydraulic oil at room temperature; use No. 32 hydraulic oil at low temperatures.)
- Do not open the electric control box to touch the terminals when the filter press is powered on, and do not open the motor junction box, otherwise electric shock or misoperation may occur (three-phase four-wire system).
- Before starting the machine, confirm that starting the filter press will not cause personal injury.
- Do not loosen the filter plates while filter press feeding is not complete, otherwise filtered material leakage will occur, and in severe cases, operator injury may result.
- When the filter press is pressing or pulling the plates, do not reach between the filter plates to arrange the filter cloth, otherwise personal injury will occur. If you need to arrange the filter cloth, stop the pressing or plate-pulling operation.
- Do not disassemble hydraulic components while the hydraulic station is running, otherwise high-pressure hydraulic oil may spray out and injure people. Hydraulic components can only be disassembled after the hydraulic station has been depressurized (pressure ≤ 0.05MPa).
- If the electric contact pressure gauge and pressure regulating valve of the filter press are damaged, they must be replaced in a timely manner. Otherwise, the hydraulic station and cylinders will be in an ultra-high pressure state for a long time, shortening the service life of the hydraulic station and oil pipes, causing oil pipe rupture, or even cylinder bursting, and in severe cases, operator injury.
- Replace the hydraulic oil regularly in accordance with the requirements in the operation manual, and clean the hydraulic valves and pumps in a timely manner. Otherwise, the normal operation of the hydraulic station will be affected.

- The feeding pressure must not exceed the normal filtration pressure of the equipment, otherwise filter plate deformation and main unit deformation will occur.
- The air (water) inlet pressure of membrane filter plates must not exceed the rated pressure. Air and water pressure in empty or half-filled chambers is strictly prohibited, otherwise membrane filter plate damage and main unit deformation will occur. After filter cake pressing is complete, close the air or water inlet valves, then vent all air or water pressure from the membrane plates before releasing the cylinder, otherwise equipment damage or personal injury will occur.
- When performing maintenance on the filter press, cut off the main power supply of the filter press.
- Do not arbitrarily reduce the number of filter plates or filter frames of the filter press to avoid accidents caused by insufficient cylinder pressing stroke.
