For industrial fluid treatment in fields like chemical and petroleum, the internal and external improvement of equipment is equally important. These 6 horizontal filters were completely customized according to the customer’s requirements, benchmarking even surpassing the specifications of competing products:
Tough pressure-bearing and corrosion resistance: The cylinder, head, and legs are all made of SS304 stainless steel, with a wall thickness of up to 6mm, and the surface is treated by sandblasting. Not only does it have a high-quality texture and a tough appearance, but it also has excellent anti-corrosion performance. The design pressure reaches 150 PSI, and the flanges strictly follow the ASME B16.5 standard, perfectly matching the local pipeline system.
19-bag large flow design: The tank diameter is 40 inches, and the internal configuration has 19 PE material filter bags (100um). The plastic opening is combined with full hot melt welding technology, preventing side leakage; the 16-inch oversized flange inlet and outlet ensure low pressure drop performance under high flow rate.
User-friendly operation design: Top and side are equipped with lifting ears, combined with lifting ring bolts and rocker structure, making filter bag replacement time-saving and labor-saving; the bottom is equipped with a carbon steel base (4″×8″ pipe material) specially designed for forklifts, making equipment transportation effortless.
In addition to the 6 main units, the customer also purchased 200 elliptical bottom vertical filter baskets with a thickness of 1.2mm, as well as 25 SS304 filter baskets that are compatible with the horizontal filters. Moreover, we precisely reserved NPT internal thread interfaces on the inlet and outlet flange pipes and directly equipped 2 pressure gauges, truly achieving “ready to use upon arrival”.
Extreme space challenge: How can 6 huge machines “fit into” a 40-foot container?
“Be sure to find a way to pack 6 into the container!” This was the customer’s special note on the shipping list. Due to the large size of the horizontal filters, if placed conventionally, the 6 devices could not fit into a 40-foot high container.
Facing this challenge, our technical and engineering teams optimized the drawing and packing plan in depth. Through precise calculation, we adjusted the size ratio of the base to enable two filters to be placed side by side (refer to the parallel layout in the effect picture). This extreme space utilization solution not only significantly saved the customer’s high shipping logistics costs but also fully demonstrated our core strength in non-standard customization and logistics coordination.
