Working principle and process
Core principle: Through “compression” and “filtration”, the slurry mixture is transformed into dry mud cake and clean water.
Work Flow:
Compression into a chamber: The hydraulic cylinder pushes all the filter plates tightly together, creating individual chambers (filter chambers) in the middle.
Pumping in filtration: Using a high-pressure pump, the slurry is pushed in. The water will flow out through the small holes in the filter cloth (turning into clear water), while the solid particles are retained. They accumulate more and more in the filter chamber, gradually compressing into thick “sludge cakes”.
Automatic unloading: After the filtration process is completed, the hydraulic cylinder releases, and an automatic mechanical hand (pulling plate device) will sequentially pull each filter plate apart. Once the filter plates are separated, the dry sludge cake inside will automatically fall down due to its own weight, completing the unloading.
The entire process is automatically controlled by PLC, which is equivalent to a “fully automatic giant sandwich cookie mold”. It squeezes out the moisture from the filling (mud water), and finally automatically opens to let the dry “cookies” (mud cake) fall out.
