Background
This customer is located in Southeast Asia and is an enterprise specializing in the treatment of industrial circulating water and process liquids. It serves multiple factories in local electroplating, coating, and chemical production industries. As the business scale expanded, the original filtering equipment gradually revealed problems such as insufficient filtration capacity, rapid increase in pressure drop, and frequent filter bag replacements, which affected the continuous operation of the downstream production lines.
Requirements and Challenges
The customer requires a bag-type filter system that can match the existing pipelines, has a large filtration capacity, and is easy to maintain. The specific working conditions include: the treated medium is normal-temperature industrial circulating water and weakly corrosive cleaning solutions, with a working pressure of approximately 1.0 MPa, a filtration accuracy requirement of 100 microns, and the inlet and outlet need to be connected to the on-site DN250 pipelines. Additionally, the customer hopes that the equipment has a compact structure, reduces the floor space, and can quickly complete filter bag replacement without interrupting production.
Solution
After technical communication and matching of working conditions, the customer selected the JYMF-7P-304 type 7-bag filter. This equipment has an SS304 stainless steel shell with a wall thickness of 5.0mm, a design pressure of 1.6MPa, and a working pressure of 1.0MPa. The inlet and outlet direction is side-in and bottom-out, with an interface size of DN250 (ISO), applicable temperature ≤ 80℃, and the surface is sandblasted for treatment. The entire machine is equipped with 7 PP filter bags, with a specification of Ø180×810mm, a filtration accuracy of 100 microns, and can meet the customer’s demand for continuous large-flow filtration.
Application effect
After the equipment was put into operation, the customer provided the following feedback:
- Flux improvement is significant The 7-bag parallel structure significantly increases the processing capacity of a single unit. The original working condition that required multiple small filters to be connected in parallel can now be completed by one unit. The pipeline layout is more concise.
- Pressure drop is stable Under a working pressure of 1.0MPa, the equipment operates smoothly, the filter bag replacement cycle is longer than that of the original equipment, and the number of shutdowns for maintenance is reduced.
- Maintenance is convenient The side-in and bottom-out structure makes it convenient for operators to quickly disassemble and install filter bags, and the single replacement time is shortened, reducing labor costs.
- Material durability The SS304 stainless steel shell shows good tolerance to weak corrosive cleaning solutions, and the sandblasted surface treatment also improves the appearance retention of the equipment in humid environments.
- Adaptability is strong The DN250 standard interface directly connects with the on-site pipelines, no additional modification is required, and the installation period is short.
Customer evaluation
The customer stated that this 7-bag filter meets expectations in terms of flux, pressure-bearing capacity, and maintenance efficiency, effectively supporting the continuous production needs of multiple factories. The equipment operates stably, the filter bag consumables are versatile, and the comprehensive operating cost is controllable.
